While I avoid being PC, Aiyanna is clearly delighted with this Christmas present. She often watches me as I repair (or worse) things around the house and wants to help. She was a bit disappointed when she realized she couldn't remove a door knob with the screwdriver in the set.
Aiyanna got to spend some time with her cousins (second, I think - her cousin Erik's children) Alissa and Brook just before Christmas. Here they all strike happy poses for the camera. They all had a great day. What a swell bunch of kids! The locale was "grandma" Leslie's new house. We were really jealous - it's a really nice place.

did we. Tom and Huei-Jiuan are the finest hosts we have ever met.

Aiyanna wishes the rector's wife, Ann Hargett, a happy 60th birthday. Ann, known to Aiyanna as "Grannie
Annie," has helped us in our efforts to spoil Aiyanna, in addition to giving Aiyanna some swimming instruction on Waikiki Beach last July!
